Community Health Around Torpoint (CHAT) is celebrating 25 years of helping people to live healthy lives.
CHAT was set up in 1991 by three health professionals, GP Kevin Mattholie, health visitor Kathy Gilbert and midwife Margaret Hall.
A quarter of a century on and the charity continues to work in the community, providing services and help groups.
CHAT facilitates walking, exercise, cardiac, diabetic and lunch groups, and works with a number of organisations.
Over the years, more than 70,000 people have visited the CHATLINK information bureau and many more have used the community shop.
A celebration, attended by mayor John Crago, took place at Torpoint town hall and included entertainment and a tea.
