STUDENTS and staff are celebrating after receiving a glowing report from a recent Ofsted inspection.
Saltash.net Community School was visited by a team of five inspectors who were there to carry out the government inspection and were judged in 53 separate areas.
Of these, 27 aspects of the schools work were considered to be outstanding and included in this was Community Cohesion, which is the newest feature of a school's work that Ofsted have to report on.
Headteacher Isobel Pryce said: 'I am so very pleased that this Ofsted report recognises the outstanding way in which everyone works together at this school to ensure that our young people achieve the best that they possibly can.'
Chairman of governors Kate Waghorn added: 'It is encouraging to know that both the work of the governing body and the leadership of our headteacher were judged to be outstanding.
'I know we will continue to go from strength to strength.'
