A holiday centre is hoping to start a new Halloween trend.

The Tencreek Holiday Park, Looe, has created four themed hay bales, a cat, two pumpkins and a spider.

The spider, named Angus, has been positioned beside the Polperro road at the turning for Talland Bay. The three other bales are in the park.

The pumpkins have been named Jonny and Chelsea, while the cat is called Thingy after the park cat.

Henry Joce, from the park, said: ‘We are hoping this may start a trend similar to one which was around a few years ago with the scarecrows.’
