SALTASH Guides marked the annual International Thinking Day last week by hoisting the World Guide Flag on the town’s Guildhall early in the morning. The World Flag was first raised above the Guildhall in 1955 by a Sea Scout colour party, one member of which is now in the Saltash Trefoil Guild and attended Monday’s event, 61 years on. The ceremony was organised by guild member Mrs Phil Lee and the flag was raised by Brownie Erin Child and Rainbow Charlotte Rust.
