A little girl has been given the gift of mobility with help from her local Lions club.
Two-year-old Olivia Parkinson, from Millbrook, has Diplegic Cerebral Palsy, and is unable to walk, sit or stand unaided.
But now with her specially-designed low seat on wheels, called a ‘Scooot’, Olivia can do one of her favourite things – play with her big sister Amy, four.
The family approached the Torpoint and Rame Lions, who were happy to help by funding the equipment.
