A parade of giants, Cornish dance steps and latino rhythms will be part of the mix as Callington holds its annual MayFest celebration tomorrow (Saturday May 18).

The centre of town will be the focal point for a vast array of musicians and performers with four main venues hosting entertainment.

The MayFest procession will set out from the Saltash Road car park to arrive in the town at around 12.30pm, and all are encouraged to take part in Callington’s very own furry dance.

Breton dance demonstrations, junior and adult town crier contests and a viking re-enactment will be highlights of the day.

The event starts with a craft and artisan fair from 10am - for more details visit www.callingtonmayfest.weebly.com
