Gabi Rowe is the new Rip Curl Girls' Tour champion.
With a first place finish at Croyde and fifth at St Ives, the former Looe surfer, who is now based at Port Isaac, did enough to take the title.
It was almost certainly the first surfing accolade for the South East Cornwall town which has such a proud record in sailing and rowing competitions but has never excelled at wave-riding.
