Free parking is coming to an end in Bodmin.
After 12 months of free car parking while £7.5m of town improvements were under way, parking charges in Bodmin’s three town centre car parks are set to be reinstated from Sunday, October 1.
Following a successful bid to the Government’s Growth Deal fund, Cornwall Council and the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership has invested £7.5m in the Building a better Bodmin project which aims to improve traffic flows, make it safer for people walking and cycling in the area and provide a catalyst for the regeneration of the local economy.
