THE Smile Centre Dental Surgery in Liskeard is offering free oral cancer scans next week. Appointments are open to anyone regardless of whether they are registered for treatment at the surgery as part of Mouth Cancer Awareness Week. According to the British Dental Health Organisation, someone in the UK dies every five hours due to mouth cancer. Scans will available between 9am and 5pm Monday-Thursday, and from 9am-1pm on Friday.
