The Grand Family History Day is a free event taking place in Liskeard Public Hall on Saturday, May 21. The day will be an excellent opportunity for people to find out more about their ancestors, heritage and roots, with the help of experts representing towns in East Cornwall.
Hall from 10am to 3pm and is expected to be busy. The groups ready to help are: Cornwall Family History Society, Plymouth and West Devon Record Office, Kresen Kernow, Cornwall On Line Parish Clerks, Devon Family History Society, Liskeard Old Cornwall Society, St Neot Community Archive, Polperro Family History Group, Cornwall Regimental Museum, Saltash Heritage Museum and Local History Centre, Torpoint Archives, Elliotts Shop (Tamar Protection Society), Stuart House Trust, and the town museums of Liskeard, Looe , Callington, Fowey, Lostwithiel, Launceston and Bodmin.
