The Bishop of Truro, the Rt Revd Bill Ind, has appointed Canon Clive Cohen, at present Rector of Winterslow in the Diocese of Salisbury, to be the new Archdeacon of Bodmin, in succession to the venerable Rodney Whiteman.
The 54 year old Archdeacon first trained as a banker serving 12 years with the Midland Bank in the City and South London suburbs. Having qualified in the top 50 candidates world-wide, promotion quickly followed. During these years he served as a lay member of his PCC and Deanery Synod, and was admitted as a Reader.
