Cornwall Hospice Care Open Gardens fundraising scheme gives gardening enthusiasts a great opportunity to check out some of the best gardens in the county.
Located in riverside settings and woodland gardens they boast sculptures, orchards and unusual shrubbery, plants and trees.
They include the Lodge at Fletcher’s Bridge, Bodmin which will be open this weekend on Sunday and Monday afternoons; the popular Tregrehan Garden in Par which will be open on Sunday, May 19 and Trebartha in Launceston open on the afternoon of Sunday, June 2.
Details of these gardens, plus the other gardens in the scheme, are in the Open Gardens guide, which is available to download from the events page of the Cornwall Hospice Care website. It’s also available from Cornwall Hospice Care shops, most garden centres and tourist information centres.
The Open Gardens Scheme has raised over £85,000 for the charity since it was launched. Anyone interested in opening their garden for Cornwall Hospice care should contact the Cornwall Hospice Care fundraising team on 01726 66868 or email [email protected]
