A ferryman who walked, cycled and paddled his way to Land's End and back, in memory of a workmate, has raised around £1,000 for the Cornwall Air Ambulance with more money still being donated.
The epic journey was undertaken over the bank holiday weekend in four days by Paul Barnfield (45) who lives in Torpoint.
'I did this primarily in memory of my workmate on the Torpoint Ferries, Richard Neale, who died aged 20, in a car crash on the A38 more than two years ago,' said Paul. 'I decided to raise money for the air ambulance at the same time.'
