Students from Liskeard School and Community College spent a morning working with local illustrator Keith Sparrow before accompanying him on a journey by train. Keith is a freelance illustrator and designer who works in a wide range of styles, including cartoons, marketing and events visuals, storyboards and poster design. The train journey followed the country track from Liskeard to Bodmin Parkway before the students got on a steam train to travel to the station in Bodmin town and back They recorded the event by producing drawings and written materials and some of their final work was printed on bookmarks which were given out to passengers at Liskeard station. They were delighted when Keith remarked that Liskeard was the best school with which he had worked. The remainder of their work will be used to illustrate a booklet due to be published at the end of the project.
