Assistant headteacher Kate Littledyke has become the new headteacher of saltash.net community school.

Ms Littledyke relocated to the South West six years ago. Previously, she was a deputy headteacher for five years at a similar-sized secondary school in Reading.

The new headteacher said she is committed to maintaining all the things that make saltash.net what she called a great school, but is keen to implement some new strategies.

She said she is looking forward to further strengthening the school’s relationship with the local community and surrounding areas, and to continuing the school’s focus on developing the whole child and improving the life chances of all students.
