College students have been given a taste of what it is like to be on a ship that is flooding.
The Military Academy students from Duchy College’s Stoke Climsland campus worked with the Damage Repair Instructional Unit (DRIU) at HMS Raleigh, Torpoint, during a two-day visit.
The group were shown how to repair damage to the hull and decks of a ship before being divided into teams and sent into the simulated ship, HMS Havoc, at the naval training establishment.
