An education charity has called on more men to take up the challenge of teaching, as figures reveal less than one in three teachers in Cornwall are male.

Teach First says the latest figures show a stubborn gender gap in the profession.   

Nationally 26% of teachers in England are men, a share which has declined since 2010. In Cornwall, the figure is 30.8%.
