Biscovey 0 Foxhole 1
Biscovey's brave fight to end Foxhole's long winning run ended in failure, but it wasn't for the lack of effort. Any chance of playing open football for either side was thwarted by the gusty conditions. There was very little between the teams in the first half, although Foxhole,s Mike Body brought the best out of keeper Martin Quantick with a couple of good efforts. And it was Body who scored the decisive goal when his cross shot whistled past Quantick. Biscovey picked up in the second half with Nick Isbell and David Bell both going close, but it was Qauntick who kept Biscovey in the match by winning his ongoing battle with the lively Body. Isbell had another half chance, but it was the champions in waiting who picked up the three points. Biscovey manager Mark Cox said: 'I would have settled for a 1-0 result before the match, but now I think we could have got something out of it, although Foxhole are the best team we've played this season.'
