Torpoint Athletic narrowly beat Liskeard Athletic 1-0. Liskeard were the far better side in the first half, but could not put away just one of the six good chances they created. 'It hurts when you know that the game was yours for the taking,' admitted Liskeard assistant manager Tony Richardson. 'We ran the first half but missed a host of chances – and you cannot do that at this level and expect to return home with a result.'
