With promotion already secured, Gunnislake finished their season in style, recording this comfortable victory against fourth-placed St Merryn.
The goals were shared around as seven players all scored once. The scorers were Neil Kinger, Andy Southcott, James Ord, Joe Pulley, Paul Tomkins- his 36th of the season which sees him finish as the club's leading scorer- an own goal and one from Laurie Hill, whose strike ensured that every regular outfield player has been on the scoresheet at some point during the season.
This result sees Gunnislake finish their league campaign with 60 points from 28 games in which they won 18, drew six and lost four, scoring 91 times and conceding 38 to finish in the runners-up position, thus ensuring that they have gained promotion for two successive seasons.
