Dobwalls by-pass meeting
A meeting is to be held in Dobwalls on Saturday to bring residents up to date with the campaign to push for a by-pass for the village.
The meeting is to be held in the Memorial Hall at 3pm, with all welcome to attend.
Among those attending will be local MP, Colin Breed, who said that local people's lives are being blighted by the current situation, with the extra busy A38 as good as dividing the village. He said the by-pass would only cost £12 million, which is cheap by road standards, and land has already been allocated.
Local parish council chairman, Derek Newton, said the intention was to inform people of latest moves to progress the scheme.
