Saltash v Newquay

INJURY-HIT Saltash gave a good account of themselves against a strong Newquay side, who maintained their promotion push to win by 55 runs.

New Zealander Scott Steward gave Newquay a flying start, hitting 67 in the first 11 overs before a Ross Braund slower ball induced a return catch.

Normal service was then resumed, with players of similar ability competing against each other.
