As Poppy Appeal Organisers we would like to take this opportunity to thank all those people who contributed so generously to the Poppy Appeal this year.

We are delighted to report that the collection amounted to £7919.59 which showed an increase of £593.32 over last year. We would also say a big thank you to those people who collected door to door with their poppy trays. Unfortunately we are not able to get enough willing people to cover all the Liskeard area so some estates were missed. We also appreciate those who stand on street corners to collect, to them we say a big thank you.

The Remembrance Parade this year was the biggest for many years, and we thank all the organisations that made it such a success.

To all those who observed the two minutes silence wherever you were, on the parade or at the Cenotaph on the 11th November we thank you.
