TABLE tennis star David Wetherill from Torpoint has been selected by the GB Paralympic team for this year's London Games.
David, 22, represented Great Britain at the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing, where he reached the last eight.
David said: 'Competing in Beijing was a great experience but there will be a different atmosphere in London. With this announcement it has really hit home that the Games are not far away.' He is currently ranked world number seven. Last year David graduated with a degree in Biological Chemistry at the University of Sheffield. Picture: onEdition
