Liskeard Councillor Jane Pascoe sent us this photograph of the moon taken by her 10 year old granddaughter Evie Vinall.
‘There was an article about the Dark Night Sky event at Siblyback Lake, organised by the Caradon Observatory and South West Lakes Trust, in The Cornish Times - I spotted it and decided to take my grandchildren to it,’ said Jane.
‘It was very interesting and the enthusiasts were great with the children. Evie and her sister Jessica had lots of time on the telescopes looking at the mon, Jupiter and many of the stars. They loved it, and I would encourage more people along to these events.’
