The father of a terminally-ill girl has jumped out of a plane to raise money for the charity which his daughter inspired.
Nigel Libby completed a 10,000ft tandem skydive on the weekend along with five supporters, including Atlantic Freedom rower Mark Story and Cornish Times chief reporter Carrie Garrad. Amy Breckons, Kerri Allen and Katie Lorimer, all from Torpoint, completed the six-strong team, which hopes to raise more than £1,000 for Ellie's Haven, a charity set up by Nigel and his wife, Julie.
Nigel said: 'It was a great experience, something I will never forget. Many thanks to the Cornish Parachute Club at Perranporth for looking after us and for their support. I am sure those of us who took part would also like to thank our family and friends for attending the day, and a big thank you to all the people have donated to raise funds for Ellie's Haven.'
The fundraisers completed the challenge on Sunday, which was organised by Mark at Perranporth airfield.
