Liskeard's Liskerrett Centre became a training ground for bacteria as dance enthusiasts prepared to take part in a film being made at the Eden Project on Sunday.
Around 20 people took part in the training session hosted by dance tutor Carmen Hunt to prepare themselves for taking part in the film, being made by Bill Wroath – one of 12 artists commissioned by Eden to create exhibits for a new permanent exhibition entitled 'Invisible You – the Human Biome'.
In Liskeard, Carmen explained that she had been asked to host the local rehearsals and she had invited Cornish dancers and members of Caradon Street Dance, who regularly meet at the centre, to take part.
They rehearsed five different moves, taking their inspiration from traditional styles such as the Serpent Dance.
The Liskeard dancers will be staging a final run-through tomorrow between noon and 12.30pm at the centre and anyone who would like to join in is welcome.
Carmen said that the people involved ranged from children to a woman in her 80s.
'I can't wait to see how it works out on Sunday when all 500 dancers come together for the performance,' she said.
