Liskeard-looe had the edge in this clash at Lux Park, running in two tries to emphasise their superiority.
In a match with a lot of handling errors from both sides in appalling weather, the home side soon had their noses in front at 5-0. They had points on the board in the third minute when No 8 Ali Hill went over from a catch-and-drive. Thirteen minutes into the second period, the Plymouth club narrowed it with a well-taken penalty by scrum-half Henry Matthews. It was not until the 72nd minute that Liskeard finally pulled away to victory.
