Cricket- Kwik cricket roadshow

The ECB Cricket Roadshow is coming to Cornwall when it will be attending the three days of the Royal Cornwall Show on the 10th,11th and 12th of June at Wadebridge.

The Vodaphone sponsored roadshow is aiming to reach boys and girls outside of cricketing environment and to encourage an increased awareness and participation of the game. The Roadshow consists of a mobile exhibition with games and information plus outside batting, bowling and fielding facilities. In 1998 the show proved a nationwide success, with over 20,000 children passing through the doors at over 30 venues across the country.

Cornwall Cricket Development Officer Peter Grant and a team of local coaches will staff the event which is in the vanguard of a new development in Kwik cricket aims to bring the basics of the game.
