Costa Coffee is opening a new drive-thru in Carkeel this morning.

Coffee enthusiasts will be treated to a day of events with Saltash Mayor John Brady and Mayoress Jackie Brady officiating the opening at 10am. Visitors can win prizes which will be presented by Willy Wonka. Litter picking Wombles, face painters and a live musician will also be in attendance to entertain customers.

Store Manager, Robin Rickard said: ’We look forward to being an active part of the local community. Having indoor seating allows us to get involved with events; providing the store as a meeting place and helping with fundraising, as well as being able to serve up our famous signature, handcrafted coffees, delicious sweet and savoury treats to those on who are on the go.’
