A Cornwall takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

East Meets West, a takeaway at 14 Beach Road, Carlyon Bay, St Austell, Cornwall was given the score after assessment on May 21, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Cornwall's 420 takeaways with ratings, 316 (75%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
