Have you always wanted to be a bus or train driver or to try landing a plane at your local airport? Are you interested in winning a hamper full of Made in Cornwall goodies, meeting the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service fire investigation dog Archie, building a six-foot skeleton or having your photo taken dressed in one of the costumes used by award-winning Miracle Theatre Company? If the answer is yes you might want to visit Cornwall Council’s Stand 94 at this year’s Royal Cornwall Show this week (June 9, 10 and 11).
The theme this year is the Cornwall Devolution Deal and staff will be using a range of interactive events and activities to show how the council is working with partners aiming to improve the health and well-being of local people, create a single public transport system, support local businesses and celebrate heritage and culture.
