A passion for photography and some of the best technology available give Bude Drones the edge in the air.
’The possibilities are endless – the only limit is our imaginations!’ says director Mark James. He’s excited about the scope for projects, both for work and for fun, that his company can offer.
Mark and fellow professional drone pilot Harrison have four UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) at their disposal, each with its own benefits depending on the job to be done. All are of the highest specification, filming in 4-6K, and include the DJI Zenmuse X7 – the same lens used by the Blue Planet team to give stunning cinematic footage.
Drone filming can provide your business with unrivalled publicity materials, whether for an ’all access ’ tour for holiday acommodation, or photographs that will capture the views from your premises like no other. Farmers can benefit from land surveys or livestock monitoring, saving time and resource. And the trickiest building and roof inspections are made simple with agile drone positioning and reliable, sharp imagery.
Then there’s the fun stuff, and for weddings, parties, and events of any kind, Bude Drones provide a beautiful and unusal record of the moment or of the whole day. Packages can be put together from just a few shots of your choice to several hours of film expertly edited in the studio. And sports photography takes on a new edge when filmed from all angles from the air, says Mark.
’Surfers and mountain bikers are the obvious ones - but for runners, canoists, climbers, anyone playing team games, and you name it really, we can provide you with something really special to record your sporting moment, whether for promotion, or just for the memory.’
The virtual reality experience is something that Mark is very excited to offer.
’Wearing state of the art VR goggles you really do have a bird’s eye view of the world.
’You have complete control on where the drone looks. Capture images, and video of your favourite places whilst offering instructions to the professionally qualified pilot.’
Also among the craft flown by the team is a drone equipped for search and rescue. With thermal imaging, spotlights and voice recognition, the equipment will be used to assist emergency services teams in locating a casualty within a wide area of land or water, saving vital hours and minutes and potentially saving lives.
While Bude Drones offically took to the skies with its launch this week, Mark has many years of experience flying drones. And capturing beautiful, high quality images has been his passion since gaining his degree in photography back in 1990. After a move to Cornwall in 2018, Mark wanted to start a business that would enable him to combine both these things with the variety and flexibility of working with a huge range of clients.
’Here at Bude Drones we simply love everything we do, from a simple look at an awkward corner of a rooftop, to helping people achieve the best outcome with the creative project they have in mind,’ he said.
’If you have an active project, just an idea, or you just want to ask questions about how we could work together, then please do get in touch.’
