Liskerret Male Voice Choir, Pastiche and Gaslight are again holding their Charity Appeal Concert in Liskeard later this month. This time it will be on behalf of the Chestnut Appeal (prostate cancer) and the Oncology Department at Derriford Hospital. The funds are needed to help the running cost of the Oncology Department, around £10 million a year, while the concert will help the Chestnut Appeal to build a specialist investigation and treatment centre for prostate cancer. The concert will take place on February 27 in the Wesley Chapel at 7.30pm with admission by programme and at the door.
