TOLL charges on the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry will be suspended on Christmas Day (from midnight to 11.59pm on December 25).
The night time ferry service, that runs half hourly from 9.30pm to 6.30am, will remain unchanged seven nights a week throughout the Christmas and New Year period.
Here’s a guide to the day time timetable over the festive period:
Thursday, December 24: Normal weekday service until 8pm, half hourly service* thereafter.
Friday, December 25: One ferry/ half hourly service.
Saturday, December 26 – Monday, December 28: Two ferry/15-minute service from 6.30am to 9.30pm.
Tuesday, December 29 – Thursday, December 31 Normal weekday service.
Friday, January 1: Two ferry/15- minute service from 6.30am to 9.30pm.
Saturday, January 2: Normal schedule resumes.
*Half hourly service: on the hour and half hour from Torpoint and quarter to and quarter past the hour from Devonport.
