Children in Crafthole who raised more than £800 towards their park were the first to try out the new equipment.
Youngsters from Crafthole, Sheviock and Portwrinkle organised stalls and raffles to bring in funding for the Friends of Crafthole Park project.
In return, the children were asked to choose the piece of apparatus they would like the most – and the winning vote went to the ‘Springer Surfboard’ pictured.
