Robert Gofton joined CHICKS, the charity with a base in Tywardreath that provides respite breaks to young people, as its new chief executive in September, as Elanor Hoskin left after five years in the role to spend more time with her young family.
Robert was previously working as the chief executive of Exeter and Falmouth Students Union, and has extensive experience of working within the public and private sector.
He started his career as a professional cricketer, playing at both Leicestershire and Worcestershire County Cricket Clubs before later moving into marketing.
