LOOE Bowling Club held their annual presentation evening at the Hannafore Point Hotel.
With club president Marilyn Berry unfortunately stranded in Cyprus, due to a baggage handlers' strike, trophies were presented by club chairman Terry Appleton.
New captain Peter Gibb has taken over the reins from John Yeo and, after another successful season on the green, Looe's bowlers are looking forward to next year's competitions.
That will be followed in 2013 by the club's centenary year, with special events already in the pipeline.
Special thanks were extended to club secretary John Hickman for his efforts throughout the year, along with Beryl Puckey and the ladies' committee after raising money for this year's special cause – The Archie Barton Meningitis Appeal Fund.
