The sun shone on Liskeard Carnival at the weekend as scores of people lined the streets to enjoy the annual procession.
A fun day was held in Liskeard before the carnival which featured clowns and characters from the Wizard of Oz.
The procession left the cattle market at 6.30pm and continued through the town, rounding off a week of events that included a moorland walk and the traditional Floral Dance, all organised by the Liskeard Lions.
A full report and two pages of pictures in this week's Cornish Times.
