Callington and Gunnislake District Ladies' Summer Darts League

The League Summer fixtures started on Monday with five teams in each division.

Division One - Tavistock Hotel had Gunnislake SC B as their visitors. Gunnislake led 2-1 after the team games and then took three singles through Tammy Tozer, Jenny Edwards and Pam Southcott. Tavy took just one through Lorraine Chesworth to go down 5-2.

Callington SC played host to neighbours Bulls Head. Social Club took the team games 2-1 and then took two singles through Phyl Freeman and Angela Howard. Bulls also took two through Margeret Martin and Rose Dawe to go down 4-3.

Division Two - Coryton Arms entertained Callington CC (Crickets) and started well winning all three team games. They then took three singles through Lindsay Nicholls and Wendy and Rose Knight. Crickets gained one consolation singles when Mary Borlase beat Amanda Burt.

Stoke Climsland A were pitted against stablemates, Stoke Climsland B. The B team took the early initiative, winning all three team games. They then took two singles through Mon Stockman and Barbara Sleep. Birdie Craven and Maureen Webber replied but the B team won 5-2.
