Members of the 335 Saltash Air Cadets Squadron are real ‘shooting stars’, say their instructors.

Four cadets who took part in a shooting master class weekend have successfully completed their No 8 rifle weapons handling training.

‘Once the cadets had demonstrated that they could safely handle the weapon, they were given the opportunity to apply their newly-learned skills on the range during shooting practice,’ said civilian instructor Leila McKenna.

‘We were amazed with the high levels of competency and accuracy shown by the cadets. Congratulations to them all and many thanks to the staff who gave up their spare time to run the event.’
