Inbetweeners star James Buckley has revived his lovable character Jay Cartwright especially for a local builders merchant.
Buckley can be heard voicing RGB Building Supplies' latest series of radio adverts.
In the ads, Jay is trying his hand as a tradesman and, in typical Jay fashion, there’s plenty of embellished bragging during conversations with his builder ‘fwends’.
According to Jay, he got a bargain when he bought a left handed hammer and polystyrene nails from a man on the street, has been asked by the Vatican to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, is taking on the renovation of Big Ben, and he invented the internet.
Adam Davis, branch manager at RGB Launceston, said: ’We’d like to thank James Buckley for bringing Jay back for us. He’s such a great character, but maybe not the best builder! We hope everyone enjoys listening to his antics.’
