SOUTH East Cornwall firms and individuals feature on the list of finalists for the Cornwall Business Awards - in which Man Engine creators Golden Tree productions have been nominated for design.

The awards are organised and presented by Cornwall Development Company in association with Business Cornwall Magazine and the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce. 

The awards highlight that Cornwall is a place where young talent can flourish, say judges.

On the finalists for Most Creative Use of Design. Golden Tree Productions face competition from Fowey’s Rugged Interactive, also on the shortlist for Manufacturer of the Year. Rugged Interactive employs modern design and technology to create fitness equipment. The firm has been featured on TV’s Dragons’ Den.  

The winners will be announced at an awards dinner to be hosted at St Mellion International Resort on May 18. 

Around 350 leaders from Cornwall’s businesses are expected to attend.  England rugby hero and TV personality, Matt Dawson, will be the celebrity speaker.
