St Austell Brewery has scooped the prestigious Beer Champions 2016 award at the British Beer and Pub Association’s annual dinner in London.
Presented at the national celebration of Britain’s beer and pub industry by BBPA Chairman David Forde and Olympian Sir Chris Hoy, the Beer Champions Award recognises companies that have successfully worked to promote, improve and celebrate beer as a category, with a key focus on investment, innovation and quality.
St Austell Brewery secured the award, based on an entry that outlined the company’s success across 2015, including a bucking of the national trend to report continued sales growth driven by Tribute, Korev and Proper Job.
