Changes to Go Cornwall Bus services have come into effect.

Villagers in St Dominic will now once again have a bus to and from Plymouth, with the introduction of the 12A service.

This route will also provide a direct link from Downgate and Callington to Plymouth.

The number 12 between Plymouth and Launceston via Stoke Climsland and Callington will also continue, but will be reduced from every 30 minutes to once an hour.

The number 11 service between Plymouth and Liskeard will also be reduced in frequency from every 30 minutes to every hour; Go Cornwall Bus says that while take-up of the more frequent service had been quite good, numbers were still not high enough to make the half-hourly service sustainable.

The number 10 service between Saltash and Plymouth will be withdrawn completely due to low passenger numbers following the introduction of the number 5 route between Saltash and the city centre via Devonport.
