After last week's cup reversal, Saints got back to winning ways with a well controlled 3-0 win away to St Breward on a bleak cold winters day.

Starting up hill St Cleer battled to gain superiority on a pitch not conducive to Saints passing style and many forward furores broke down as a result. It was not until over half way through the first half that the visitors broke the deadlock when a ball through to Collins saw the player cross into the path of Truckle who slotted home with aplomb. Despite their dominance St Cleer failed to increase their lead although they still had to cope with St Breward's attempts at goal one such attempt brought a fine save from Duffey.

Leading by the odd goal at half time, the visitors came out determined to increase their lead, and within minutes of the restart from a corner taken by Taylor saw Langdon meet the ball perfectly to head home. This took the sting out of the game, and a indirect free kick from Collins was inadvertently headed home by a St Breward player to finish the scoring, Saints finish this game in a canter and were never really troubled.
