A total eclipse of the Moon took place early this morning.
The Blood Moon was caught on camera by Professor John Whipps.
John took a series of pictures of the Moon, above the sea off Looe, showing different stages of the eclipse
He said: ’It did get amazingly dark without the Moon’s normal brightness.’Also up early this morning was 14-year-old Louise Coates, of Landrake, who took a picture of the Moon we are publishing here.
