During a service at St Dominick Parish Church, a presentation was made to Kevan Borlase by the Rev Chris Painter, in recognition of Kevan’s achievement of 50 years of bell ringing at the church.

Kevan – seen in the centre of the picture flanked by the Rev Painter, left, and by Brian Jones, vice chairman of St Dominick Parochial Church Council – is tower captain and his enthusiasm and dedication over many years has been instrumental in encouraging new members to join the team.

In his words of appreciation, Chris thanked Kevan for his devoted service, sentiments also expressed by members of the parochial church council.
