A brilliant 30 yard strike from Gary Williams lit up this otherwise dour all Jewson semi final tussle for the right to meet Duchy League Gunnislake in the final at Langsford Park, Tavistock on Sunday evening.
The first half was best left forgotten as neither side could break down the other's defence. But, the second period was a far more entertaining spectacle, highlighted by Williams' strike on 55 minutes.
Launceston pressed late on but could not get past Andy Brenton who was making a much welcomed return from 12 weeks out with a hand injury and Callington held on for a victory to take their unbeaten run to three games.
