At one time the Cornish Administration, media and some organisations used to reflect their pride in being a part of Cornwall.
Sadly, in recent years, there is seemingly now a preoccupation - almost an obsession! - with complying with the insidious English agenda of repressing that Cornish Identity. This 'official' view of the Duchy seems to be at odds with a growing awareness and pride in a truly Cornish heritage by the Cornish people themselves.
The latest example of this trend is that of the 'Cornwall Fire Brigade' which is now demeaning itself as the tautological 'Cornwall County Fire Brigade'. Not only this but the Cornish members choice to opt for black 'new-style' shirts, was overturned in favour of the Devonshire members choice of red shirts. The so-called Cornish Brigade officers, apparently, did not wish to be seen to be "awkward"!! Perhaps they might be invited to explain themselves?
Is this anti-Cornish capitulation heralding covert discussions on creating a 'Devonwall Fire Brigade, in keeping with other aspects of this English agenda which saw the Devonwalling of our Cornish Constabulary, Chambers of Commerce, Magistrates Courts, Probation Service, Ambulance Service, utilities and, of course, many others?
I know from other sources of anecdotal evidence that there is high-level external pressure that, "If you don't sort it! We will!" Why don't these people respect our Cornish Identity and our territorial Integrity? Have they been deliberately imported to top Cornish posts in order to facilitate this policy.
